Motion is Medicine
Veterinary chiropractic care for animals in Knoxville, TN
Hoof & Hound Veterinary Chiropractic is owned and operated by Dr. Tim Chamberlain, a licensed veterinarian and 22-year Army veteran who has spent over a decade studying how animals are built, from the inside out.
He teaches veterinary anatomy to future veterinarians and brings that same depth of knowledge into every adjustment he makes on dogs, horses, and pet animals. If your animal is stiff, favoring a side, slowing down, or just not moving the way they used to, we can help you find out why and build a plan to support them.
Why Chiropractic Care
Veterinary chiropractic care works because it respects how a body actually moves. Dr. Chamberlain calls it applied, functional anatomy in the field: years of gross anatomy study and hands-on veterinary training, put to work one adjustment at a time. That background means he isn't guessing at what's under the surface. He knows it, and he explains it to you in plain language so you understand what's going on with your animal and why a certain approach makes sense.
Services Offered
The first visit will include a full veterinary chiropractic exam and adjustments as needed. Additional services may be recommended depending on findings from the exam.

Dr. Chamberlain knows firsthand what it's like to manage the long-term effects of physical strain. That's part of why he believes so strongly in ongoing training, therapy, and support, not a one-time fix. He will always tell you honestly what he'd do if your animal were his own.
